About the illustrator

Meet Nick – the man behind many of Librio’s most beloved illustrations. He’s been drawing since he could hold a pencil and never stopped (even when he probably should’ve been doing his homework). Based in Cologne with his wife, two almost-grown kids, and his beloved whippet Lulu, Nick lives and breathes creativity. Before joining Librio, he ran a letterpress design studio and a greeting card company. So you could say he’s been spreading joy on paper his whole life.

About us

Librio began with our founder Ed's wish to give his daughter the most special gift imaginable—a story made just for her. That spark grew into a mission: to help families everywhere create unforgettable personalized books while giving back to the planet and society. Since 2017, we’ve crafted over half a million stories, planted just as many trees, and shared the joy of reading through the charity program "Room to Read" with children around the world.
